Credit System
  • Semester Pattern is adopted for the programme due to the following reasons:
    • Reduced learning load; only five -six courses in each Semester.
    • Two exams in the year make it easier to qualify for working professionals.
    • Semester-wise payment of fees is easier for working professionals.

  • 31 Courses. Total 160 Credits
  • Major Project in last Semester
  • Credit-based system is followed for flexibility. A credit point is a rough measure of the study hours expected for effective learning.
  • One Credit is equivalent to 25 hours of study effort, which includes time spent on Course material & books; Exercises & assignments; Contact sessions; Projects; Exams. Thus, a 5-credit course involves 125 study hours.

Entry Requirements
   
Qualification:
Technical Diploma from an institution approved by Board of Technical Education of any State or equivalent
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Mathematics)

Experience:

2 years of work experience as on 30th June 2008. Last 1 year must be with an industry with a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 2 crores.
