PTU Nalanda School of TQM & Entrepreneurship supports organizations to implement Lean Manufacturing techniques for cost reduction for MSMEs, besides reducing the possibility of their rejection and helping to maintain standardization. Lean is the only solution to achieve a sustained rate of growth, manufacturing sector needs to build and maintain competitiveness to deal with the challenges posed by globalization.
To encourage more and more MSMEs to implement the Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Scheme, Mohali Industries Association in association with National Productivity Council organized a gathering of the Entrepreneurs for a session on Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Scheme at MIA Bhawan on 23rd February, 2017 NPC also felicitated members of the ongoing MIA Auto Parts Machining Cluster for their participation in the Scheme.
NPC also congratulated PTU Nalanda School of TQM & Entrepreneurship for successful & on time closure report submission of MIA Auto Parts Machining Cluster. A recurring saving of more than Rs 121 lacs per annum was carried out under this cluster.
