B.Tech. Industrial Engineering and Management is totally a practical
programme and I have used the knowledge that I learnt during the
programme in my organization to solve critical problems. Management
appreciated the decisions taken by me and awarded me through
promotion and appraisal grade of “excellent” in two successive years.
We had lots of end product waste generation due to engineering breakdowns in our organization. I took this project to reduce engineering breakdowns. I strengthened the preventive maintenance schedules of vital machinery and reduced the engineering breakdowns to nil. I got a special award and a family dinner in a good restaurant. Now I have been promoted and have an independent office cabin. |
